STUDENT HEALTH CHECK-UP:

According to Regulation No. 54 of the Minister of Social Affairs of 13 August 2010, preventive health check-ups of students of a certain age group (in grades V and IX) are carried out by the student's family doctor and preventive medical check-ups for dental diseases in grades I, III, V, VII and IX are carried out by the student's dentist.

The school health office conducts a health check-up for students in grades I, III, VII, and X, which is performed by a school nurse.

The health check-up examines the student's height, weight, posture, blood pressure, skin and mucous membranes, arch of the foot, bones and muscles, sexual development, checks vision, and discusses health topics.

Pre-registration is required for a preventive health check-up with a family doctor! · Rapla Family Health Center tel. 485 5344 https://raplapak.ee/, · Ennetuskliinik OÜ Confido tel. 670 0600 https://www.confido.ee/tervisekeskus-rapla/

All other students whose family doctor is located elsewhere will contact their family doctor for a preventive health check-up.

IMMUNISATION: According to Regulation No. 34 of the Minister of Social Affairs of 21 March 2010, which was established on the basis of Section 10(3) of the “Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act”.

The school health worker performs the following vaccinations (free of charge for the student) based on the national immunization schedule, with the written consent of the parent:

12-year-old girls and boys HPV1 (human papillomavirus),

13-year-old boys and girls MMR2 (measles-mumps-rubella 2 vaccination),

15-16-year-old boys and girls dTap6 (diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis 6 vaccination).

NB! From the moment the student starts school, immunizations take place in the school building (as an exception, also at the student's family doctor). Before the planned age-appropriate immunization, a written notice is sent home, to which the parent confirms with their name and signature if they agree.
